What is WordPress?
WordPress is a free blogging platform. You can either choose to host your blog at WordPress or use your own web hosting service. If you are going to run WordPress on your own hosting service, you will have to download WordPress from WordPress.org. WordPress is our favorite CMS (Content Management System) because there are so many plug-ins and pre-made themes available. This is where WordPress really shines. This site runs on WordPress.
