Terms of Service Didn’t Read is a web service that aims to educate the public on what they’re agreeing to when they click the checkbox for, “I have read and agree to the Terms of this website.” So many of us (basically all of us) agree to terms that we never skim through. Truth be told, if we actually read and understood the legal jargon in Term of Use agreements, we would pass on the service.

Terms of Service Didn’t Read lists a whole bunch of Terms of Use agreement summaries on their home page. You can scroll through them or use their search feature. They rate each agreement using the letters A, B, C, D, and E. Class A is really good for the end-user and Class E is really bad.

You’ll discover facts like, “Deleted videos are not really deleted,” on YouTube.

The service has extensions for many major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. They’re currently working on an extension for IE. You can find their extensions here. The extensions will integrate the sites data with your browsing experience.
