Amazon really becomes an unstoppable shopping force once you subscribe to their Amazon Prime service. Although Amazon does charge for a premium membership, the positives outweigh any negatives.

I’ve used Amazon Prime for several years now and I can say it’s one of the best services anywhere. If you’re unsure about Prime, I recommend you at least try it for free. With Amazon Prime, you gain access to the the coveted 2-day shipping (depending on where you live, you can upgrade to same-day shipping) option along with several other great services:
- Video Streaming: stream a wide variety of films and television shows from your device of choice. This includes Amazon Originals, not found anywhere else.
- Music Streaming: listen from a library of more than 1 million songs, including current and classic albums.
- Access to Exclusive Deals: Amazon has hundreds of deals every day, including deals only available to Prime members.
- Free eBooks: with Amazon Prime, you gain access to their book borrowing program, with hundreds of thousands of Kindle eBooks to choose from.
- Unlimited Photo Storage: upload and store as many photos as you want with Amazon Drive. You can add and view photos from multiple devices with a special app.
Amazon is already a fantastic website without a subscription, but you can’t ignore the deal you’re getting with Prime. They even have a discount for students, with a free 6-month trial before you commit. Prime is the biggest reason Amazon is the best shopping website on the internet.
What Is Prime Now?
Prime members also get to use Prime Now, a service that offers 2-hour express shipping. Not every area has access to Prime Now, but those that do can purchase from local stores in addition to select products available through Amazon. I’ve had products arrive in less than an hour. It’s really quite incredible.
